Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to pay to get into the cat lounge?
Yes. We charge a cover fee to visit the kitties in the lounge. This helps us continue to care for the cats by providing them with food, toys, litter and a safeplace to live.
Can I drop off a stray at Cats N'At?
We cannot take any cats that do not come in through our rescue partners. To do so would jeopardize the health and well-being of the cats in our care.
What is this place?
Not only are we a dedicated, cage-free environment for adoptable cats but also a place where you can relax and de-stress, attend events, and make some new furry friends.
What can I donate for the cats?
-
Clumping litter
-
Unopened / new toys
-
Unopened / new cat beds
-
New / lightly used cat trees or furniture
-
Unopened cat treats
Can I bring my own cat?
Although we'd love to meet your fur babies, please leave them at home. Our space is dedicated to feline friends who have yet to find their forever home.
Do you do same day adoptions?
No. We want to be sure that folks have had plenty of time to be sure they're ready to adopt. Adoption Applications must be submitted and approved us
before taking a kitty home.
Where do the cats come from?
All of our adoptable cats are provided by
Conquer the Colony.
All cats provided to us are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, FeLV/FIV tested, and ready to go to their forever home!
Are kids allowed to visit the cat lounge?
Kids ages 3+ are allowed in the cat lounge any time with adult supervision.
Under 3?
We will hold special events throughout the year to give younger kids the opportunity to visit the cats. These events will focus on educating them on the proper way to greet a kitty, giving them the extra time and attention they will need to do so!
